The Old Train House B&B is a converted 19th century railway building, formerly part of the Great Southern & Western Railway line. The house was tastefully renovated in the 1990s into the distinctive limestone home you see today and was opened as a B&B in 2001.
With Blarney Castle, Lismore Castle, and the Rock of Cashel all within an hour’s drive, The Old Train House B&B is the ideal base to spend a few days in the south of Ireland. Classic car and railway enthusiasts will find this home of special interest.
- The Rooms
The bedrooms are all spacious with exposed timber roof beams. All bedrooms are en suite. TV’s and tea/coffee making facilities are standard. A hairdryer is available in each room. - They are also happy to cater for families and have specific family rooms available. There is plenty of good safe parking.
- Guests are offered either a substantial continental breakfast or a superb freshly cooked traditional full Irish breakfast and only quality ingredients are used as they are keen to cater for all tastes.
