Steeple View is located in Drumkeen, in between Letterkenny and Ballybofey, in County Donegal. This award winning, family run B&B is ideally suited as a base to explore all Donegal has to offer and indeed the rest of the North-West of the island.
The rooms in Steeple View B&B are all ensuite and come with their own TV, clock radio, hairdryer, and a tea/coffee facility. The house is very family friendly and has a family sized room as well as a babysitting service. This centrally heated house has a guest lounge and there is also a laundry service, a garden and ample parking at the property.
Steeple View B&B is close to many amenities. Nearby there\’s a cinema, karting, bowling, paintballing, clubs, pubs, restaurants and excellent shopping. There is a wonderful 18-hole golf course at the twin towns of Ballybofey and Stranorlar. The Grianán Theatre hosts a great number of plays and other theatrical performances throughout the year. Other major attractions include Glenveagh National Park, boasting some of the most beautiful landscape on the island; the Newmills Corn & Flax Mills, one of the largest working waterwheels in Ireland; Glebe House & Gallery, decorated with William Morris textiles, Islamic and Japanese art; and the Colmcille Heritage Centre, which is dedicated to the saint.
The twin towns of Ballybofey and Stranorlar are a five minutes\’ drive away. Around here there is plenty for those looking for some outdoor activity. Walking in the Drumboe Woods and at the hilly woodland at Mullaghagarry (locally known as the Steeple) near Stranorlar are popular pastimes for both locals and visitors. Those of a more competitive inclination can play a round at the Ballybofey and Stranorlar 18 hole golf club. For the angler there is the nearby River Finn with its plentiful stocks, particularly salmon. Letterkenny, only 10 minutes drive away, is the host for a number of internationally renowned events. The Donegal International Car Rally takes place in June and there is the Earagail Arts Festival in July organised by the Letterkenny Arts Centre.
