We are within walking distance of Galway City centre, Ardilaun Hotel The National University of Ireland Galway and the seaside resort of Salthill on the shores of Galway Bay famous for its Promenade and sandy beaches, are located within walking distance.

Ivernia B&B is an ideal base for touring Connemara, visiting en route Roundstone and then travelling along the coast road to Clifden, Kylemore Abbey and gardens: On to Leenane location of film “The Field”.

Through Connemara National Park and if there is time go along the shores of Lough Corrib (the largest lake in Ireland) to visit Ashford Castle and Cong – location of the film “The Quiet Man”.

A second day can be spent visiting The Aran Islands, renowned for their unique way of life. The Islands have a rich history, which can be seen from their ancient monuments from both Prehistoric and Christian times. On another day you can tour The Burren – a world – renowned geological and botanical wonder. Visit the Aillwee Caves, the Poulnabrone Dolmen and the Cliffs of Moher.
