This modest 1920s townhouse was inherited from a Charlestown grand-aunt Anne McKeown (nee McIntyre), I think she would be proud of the refurbishment and happy to see the life I have carved out (and livelihood eked out!) for myself . A graduate of ICSA but a failed company secretary I spent many years selling anything from tickets to the Arainn Islands to vending rubbish from China for kids to Wexford strawberries at the Willie Clancy Week to bathroom-service contracts to 21years B&B’ing, & when I became ‘green’ I even tried my hand at selling the Kachelofen wood-burning stove. Now I just cook, serve, clean, grow, nurture and keep the place cosy and as ethically & green as possible.
