Cora and Basil Judge extend a warm welcome to their Bed and Breakfast and will always be on hand with their wealth of knowledge about the area to ensure your stay is interesting and enjoyable.

There are many walks around the lake which is set in 15 acres and is also renowned for its fishing. Cora is always happy to provide a packed lunch if a day spent enjoying nature is of interest.

Ashlawn is popular with golfers due to its close proximity to Claremorris Golf Cluband The Marian Shrine at Knock is a short drive away (10 Km). All the main Hotels including the McWilliam are also nearby.

Ashlawn has 3 spacious well appointed bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and t.v.

The ‘Ashlawn Suite‘ is a family room with 2 singles, a double bed and shower

The ‘Judges Suite‘ has a single and double bed. It also features a power shower

The ‘Clare Lake Suite‘ has 2 large single beds with stunning views of Clare Lake and also boasts a power shower

Coffee & tea making facilities are available on the landing and ironing facilities on request.

Breakfast, which is served between 7.00 – 10.00 in the dining room often includes home made bread and scones, Cora’s speciality. A hearty full Irish or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs are on the menu and any special dietary requirements (by prior request) can be catered for at Ashlawn.

If you wish, your coffee can be enjoyed on the veranda or in the gazebo at the end of the garden whilst enjoying the beautiful views across the lake.
